Default New Swabbie in the Plastic Navy

Welcome to another convert. All hands on deck. If the new swabbie wants to chime in, cool. Dont want to blow up anyones spot.
Anybody else got a new boat and waiting to hit fish?

This has been an amazing kayak year so far. I am actually hopeful for the NJ Angler Tourney this year.

Remember any questions about kayak fishing are great discussion items because alot of what is happening is unprecedented. Its another frontier.

Chiming in. I'm stoked, my Revo should arrive Sunday or Monday. I'm hoping it will open some new doors for me. Now when's the next Wolfpack outing.

Gotta get up to sh to get that gateway pass. I got mine a few nights ago.

I have a feeling RB is going to be sick this year. We gotta get ourselves a fluke blanket. MJ will help with that.

I dont know how this weekend will shape up weather wise and I have national meetings at work next week until Wed. Then Thurs pm, friday and all weekend at IBSP.

If I can get out sunday I think I will do RB. If it is not blowing too hard, maybe BB.

only been able to sneak out to a local trickle a couple of times for those bait fish also known as hatchery trout...

Hey Ben, I'm suprised you didn't get a perception sit inside. I thought that you loved that yak!!!

I know you're gonna' miss the aesthetic of that boat sitting in the drive way!!!

Good luck with the yak Bro'!!!

BTW, do you have a baby seat for it yet???

I couldn't find the pedal drive on the Perception.
I think the hatch should fit the kid for a little while .
When is your next trip down?

I'm working a camera for a video project, a friend up here came up with the next three weeks, although I'm not certain how well his game plan is together.

This weekend and next are out, although I may run Sun. night into Monday. Then, as of now I'm scheduled for the 25th, which I'm on the fence with. So that may be a weekend run.

I'm in Maine, staying a block from backwaters and the beach , over the last weekend in may, but I'm home that Sunday and off till tuesday, so I may turn around and come down after the Maine run, if I'm not spoiled!!! {Got that??? }

Let me know how the first Monday and Tues of June look for you.

hmmm.. I'm doing big loop after school; Sussex, Lyndhurst, then Deal, picking up rods and whatnot I bought to use with the kids on Wednesday. I should finally hit the park just before dark. I have all night and can put in anytime. Haven't checked the tides yet.

I just picked up a Tarpon 120 all set up. Took it out yesterday (first time using a kayak) All went well. Can't wait to get out on the flats by Moriches Inlet,Shirley NY to pick up some nice Bass.
