Well, the fall run is about to commence. I'd like to hear how you feel about this year's fishing.
Fishing mostly Connecticut, it's been a story of Quality over Quantity. We've been catching a lot of decent fish 36+ inches (to 45 inches) on a consistent basis throughout the year. We've also had the obligatory "ones that got away," with one that I saw that definitely spread out close to 50 inches. We also hit a couple of dry nights in August, but that is not uncommon.
We've got a motherload of bait in our waters and if we can steer clear of any huge storms, the fall is shaping up nice.
Overall, a better than average year as I'll always take size over numbers.
