Default Seaside Today

A friend and I launched today in Seaside. Had to work really hard to get three bass between us. There were a ton of boats and a strong breeze so were mostly on the troll. We worked the surf zone out to 50’ over a 1.5-2 mile stretch of beach. A little disappointing given the conditions and we did read plenty of bait on the fish finders.

Default Re: Seaside Today

fished off LBI today but was off sesaide with the "fleet" on Saturday. At times there were 200 boats within site. Action was non-stop in the morning but slacked off midmorning. Did see two yakkers out in the thick of the boats. One guy was fly fishing. I thought it looked a bit dangerous because people were running everywhich way trolling and talking on the radios etc cutting across trolling lines...looked like a billard table 30 secs after a break.
