If there are fish I go. Fall especially. All you have to do is dress properly. Also since most of the best fishing will be in the ocean you need to become confident in the surf. So practice now while its warm.

I wear Mysterioso and over that breathable waders and a dry top. A great way to go is a dry suit. I personally am not a big fan of wetsuits as the operative word is wet. To insulate properly a wetsuit uses a layer of water between your skin and the suit. I don't like being wet and there isn't any reason to get wet.

My first launch was last year in the fall...wow what an adeventure and rush. As Baja mentions practice now.

Being dry is obviously important for several factors...water temp,etc.. I used chest high waders with a gul dry top and wader belt. Have taken several dips in the surf and come up DRY

I bought my yak from Baja at the Somerset Show. This came right on the heels of many a Fall day, watching th eblitzes a few hundred yards off the beach and wishing I had SOME WAY to get to them.

Now I do! Damn the cold water - full speed ahead!

We live for the fall run of fish! Water is warm and the fish are hungry, you'll see. Hope we meet you out there...

Western Sound, as it usually does at this time of year, is happening. Lots of good action there now.
