We've all been out in some chop, but use your head, dress carefully and be safe!

No lack of common sense.I love to yak fish and have in the past made bad judgement calls but this is just sad. From the pic I would haven't given a second thought to turning around and going home. Did these guys think it look enjoyable to go out in that slop before they launched?I would have had a gag reflex just thinking about the ride in! The ocean is bigger and stronger than you don't taunt it.

At what point is a fish worth more than your life? There's always another day and another time. I'm fortunate enough to yak fish with a group of people that puts safety above all else, period. No fish is worth your life.

Bone Daddy right on the money. I love the outdoors in general but you have to keep in mind that danger can creep up on you. Never forget that in the man vs nature battle we still lose too often to take chances like this!

Those guys weren't fishing. They were just after the thrill, WE wouldn't even try fishing from shore that day that is why we happened to be walking the beach. The ocean is beautifull when it is all kicked up, but from a distance!
