He bought the boat in Seattle, cruised Alaska 2 straight summers, took it to his home in Fla. via the Panama canal. He's on his way home from the northern route up the St. Lawrence to Hudson Bay. We talked about me joining him on a 2 month from Cal. to Fla. but I told him One of 2 things would happen by the end of the trip- One of us would be dead, or we would be married.

Bass...last time I had blue claws it was my hands after surf fishing in December; funny that when they are hitting the cold disappears

Moco Out front yesterday. 9 short flat ones all round 15 inches, Cocktails abundant around sunset.

Tried after work yesterday by what's left of the jettys.. 6 till 9..fluke were a bust with the surf up from 2 days of E wind but the summer time schoolies kept me busy went 3 for 4 on 18 to 22in bass right in the wash and all juiced up from the white water plus some small blues and a CR that swam away with my SP..

Went crabbing today in Nomoco. Many small ones in the several creeks I hit. There was a tonnage of Peanut bunker everywhere in the creeks.
