Default Cape May Point

Any one have any knowledge of the CM Point area? I'm heading down there this weekend for the wine festival and was thinking maybe I mgiht bring some gear. I believe we are staying about a 1/2 a block from the point. Are the jetties fishable? I think I'd only throw lures and not set up with bait.
Any advice?

Good fishing by the Gun Mount and Cape Avenue Jetty! Bring korkers and bucktails, fish tight to the rocks.

There are about five finger jetties from the cement ship up to the lighthouse, like fish-on said, wear korkers and work those bucktails close.

Lived in the point all summer. Sunset beach is the popular spot. there are several jetties along that string of beaches tho.
