Talking about respect, the beach was totally empty when this "gentleman" decided that I knew exactly where the fish were and camped out right next to me.That's my gear on the left. OK, I'm outta here to find this love was extended to the parking lot. My feelings were made clear in a friendly love note left on his windshield.. You can't make this sh%& up.

Sorry for making you move your head to the left, but my head was spinning that day

That wasn't by accident. You should have deflated his tires. Pretty simple.

And this is the exact reason I keep a bunker snag in my bag with the hooks sharpened in the fashion of a knife blade. Just cast it over his line, one quick jerk and his line is parted.
You cramp me you pay the price.
Those guys who bait and wait have no clue at all that the line was cut.

And that note was very nice of you, most people would have left his vehicle in a much worse conditions.
Not that two wrongs make a right.....

Fishing... the relaxing sport of gentlemen and comrades. Indeed, you were very restrained in your response. I can only think that alcohol or some other mind altering substance were in the mix there. How did he get out of his truck!!! Oy!

you have to learn to be more direct and tell them what you really think; and as a follow up when do we expect to see the tog bite start

I could have told them that the bass season doesn?t open until next week but I would thought that the game warden would maybe like to remind them.

Spent this morning fishing nomoco. Conditions were good - waves were a little big but water was crystal clear. A big fat zero for two of us; me with a little soft plastic and my partner with the fly.

I like the fresh air, but a few fish would be nice

Grumpy's posted that there's lots of bay activity in their neighborhood, including large numbers of small stripers interfering with the white perch fishing.

Does anyone have an opinion about how far back into the bay that activity is likely to be found? BrokenRod, you were fishing the ocean sand. I'm wondering about what might be moving behind the IBSP beach, off the sod banks.

I have heard good reports of stripers in the back bays. That said, I'm not going "white perch" fishing LOL.

I live on Raritan Bay (NY side). We usually see first arrivals by St. Pat's Day. With this mild weather they should be here sooner.

Smart move for him to say interfering with the white perch fishing. How much is a dozen blood worms going for. Yes, those bass could be a PIA, when your trying to catch perch.

Bay, are you busy knocking the rust off your guides and getting ready for the season?
Next month should see the first returning of the traveling stripers.

Report from last Friday... got one of my grandsons out to a local
pond and found some decent sized local sunnies willing to play.

This guy is ready for flounder and more, he's got the bug. His brother
still has some growing to do, and not sure the younger one will ever
develop the same patience that big brother has.

It was a little chilly, but we were sheltered from wind

Wow, what a start Rob, That"s how I got started about 60 years ago only it was a Goldfish/carp. I'm sure his memories will be cherished for as long a time as mine have. Priceless!!!!
