Default Wolfpack SH Sat 7/12

Well, its Wednesday and I think I can hear the howls on the sucky S wind.

The pack is convening in Lot C at SH. We will launch around sun up. Some earlier some later. I will probably be there on the early side to set up at a slowww pace.

The back inside area at Sandy Hook is a smorgasbord of steep drops, holes, flats, and it is where it is happening right now.

We will be fluking, bluefishing and striper hunting. The chance at a nice fluke is my main goal. I will be trying out my modified sifisto rig.

These guys are a fun mellow bunch who love to fish. Some like to go hard and some like it mellow. We take all comers. Besides the fishing, the angling knowledge in some of the heads there is impressive.

So come one come all. Its gonna be a great time and my internal weather man tells me that the pesky S wind will be a history by then. A good n or nw wind sets up a perfect drift back there? WHere is back there?.....Come by the Wolfpack will show you.

Happy catch'n to all. If you can make it always a great time to be had. I will not make it just back from a vacation, now I need a vacation to rest up from it.
FYI to any one with a time constraint They will be replacing the Highlands Bridge (rt 36). Its down to one lane each direction. They are demolishing and rebuilding the southbound side the whole thing is supposed to be done summer of 2011.
Shouldn't be a problem in the early morning hours, but the ride home can be a PITA, so instead of heading home and sitting in traffic you might as well have a good time B.S., nap have a BBQ, maybe a swim Ocean side during the heat of the day and head back out as the sun lowers, night pass guys could stay for the night bit

Just got back from Fla. Had a family emergency.
Drove down and back in a span of 48 hours and was almost arrested by the TSA, but I am slippery.

Sorry I could not make it, I scheduled the flight back to get me here early enough to go out with the wolfpack, I just did not plan on leaving Charlotte Airport a fugitive, with a nice rental car.

Long story....let me just say this US AIRWAYS SUXXXX!!!!! And they dont like it when you loudly put that to a vote in a crowed concourse....and they lose the vote horribly by a show of hands, whistles and catcalls..
Someone had to say, er yell it.

I'm still having trouble with the "drove down and back", "leaving Charlotte ... with a nice rental car"

No matter, glad you made it there and back, I suppose, without actually *being* arrested

Hope all is well... I've been dealing with what seems like a 3 year family emergency... getting worn down in the process. I think you younger guys can bounce back quicker than myself though

Anyone else know how it went with the pack today?
