Out outback NoMoCo last night and broke my almost 2 week skunk with a 26@ bass on a 5” white darter. It was windy with some very strong gusts. Lots of bunker but not much action on them yet. Enjoy Easter with your families.

Decided to do a little local North Jersey River fishing last night has the wind/ rain forecast for down the shore for not looking in my favor.
our usual spot has since been gated leaving me with two others that I tried.
managed to snag a carp which drag me around for about 10 minutes it was windy then came the rain and I called it a night.

This a question for you fly fishermen, would this be considered a clouser or 1/2 and 1/2. It?s larger then a traditional clouser yet smaller then a flatwing

thanks all; we have a lot of schoolies in my area in So Jersey which is typical; if things go normally the blues and bigger bass are due any time; to quote Paul McCartney...."Let it Be"

If things go somewhat as planned, my son and I will be fishing the high tide and the next couple hours in the RB. Here's to hoping that the weather's a little cloudy and the wind not too much. Oh, while I'm hoping, I might as well hope my boy catches his first keeper.

Joseph...hope the keeper shows up for your son; last trip today; water was a little cooler and bite was off; local suggested plastic worms and I took advice and tried it; ended with 2; my last one was my last cast of the season...end on a good note; good luck to all and hope to see you all soon
