I'm making a brief visit to Tiverton RI the weekend of July 9-10, and am wondering if I can get away for a while if there is any wading access along the Sakonnet River, Sakonnet point, or any nearby areas to do some sight fly fishing for bass or other quarry without worrying about bathers?? Thanks for your help!

Take a look at a map and just about anywhere there's an estuary there's some access. Most approaches are pretty shallow, so there might not be much bite during the day unless there are snappers about.
