Default Making the trip

Coming up to RI for the 8th year in a row on Wed to Sun from Jersey. Finally my 12 year old gets to come for the first time. Just trying to get a heads up on whats going on. I always stay at the Willows on Rt.1 and fish D.H and C.B mostly. Always check the breachways and the 2 ponds a little south at night. Last year we went to C.G. station to the north and did well. I was wondering if the bigger fish where around or just the rats. Kid is in for one heck of a trip...........

I have no idea what DH or CB is. But there have been some VERY nice fish being caught in RI as of late...

Those are locations in Rhode Island north of Westerly, in the Charlestown area and about 10 miles north. I didn't want to put the exact locations as the locals might get a little peeved..............

Anyone willing to give me an idea of the best times to fish breachways? I've got the night part down, that's easy enough, but what about the tides? I'm trying to make sense out of the tidal charts I've found on the net and I was hoping to get some general guidelines.

I was out Sunday night and the fish clearly were not very active. If you want to email to keep things off the net feel free. I'm a conscientious person trying to get into saltwater fishing (have considerable freshwater experience) and I won't ruin your experience if we find ourselves out on the breachway at the same time, guaranteed!

here's my anonymized email which will lead to my real inbox:
anon-101816554@craigslist.org

thanks in advance.
