Default Charlestown Breachway

Not a fishing report per se...

I was down there Saturday night and everything was normal. Went back Monday evening and there was a significant chunk of the east wall missing. I have no idea what happened, but about half the width of the wall for a length of 20' or so seems to have dropped into the breachway. The damage is maybe 20-30' short of the tip, so the fishing zone is still standing and may even be safe to stand on.

Also, I would suspect that navigation of the breachway is that much more dangerous. Even before the cave-in, an ~18' boat buried it's bow in the standing wave while trying to get back in Saturday night and ended up as wreckage. Fortunately, the guy got it back out to open water before it rolled and drifted west toward the beach.
