Thanks, guys. We are up to 38, which might be slightly above the average, inspite of bad weather.

Reports in last week's Fisherman did not list a single fifty and the count has gone flat for some reason.

All good. But watch for details that define a catch -- name, weight, date -- so that I don't count any fish twice. It is unscientific enough as it is without introducing more error.

Over on XXX, Main board, 7/26, Screen name "55Chev" from Grafton, MA posted pic of 52 lb. He commented that it's taken him 20 years to break 50. From boat, live eel, during day if I read thread correctly.

Okay, 46 fish so far. Need more identifiable details or some will be counted twice.

The tv news just reported a 57 lb bass taken in the Sissiboo system. 49 inches with a big gut. It is close to a Canadian record.

These NS monsters have to be from a local, non-migratory population. I'm counting it anyway. But I'm not counting speared fish.

Wow - the count got quiet. I just got a pic from a friend who caught and released a 52 on June 10 outside Manasquan Inlet on a live bunker. His name is John T. I'd post the pic, but don't think he wants to.

For the record Mr. D. - I agree, spear fish don't count. I didn't know that last one was speared.
