A guy named Rob got a 63 in the surf on the north shore of Long Island last week. He's wearing a wetsuit in the photos, and the fish is incredible.

The guy with the 63 doesn't show any strain holding that bass. Is the bass held up by a stick behind it? All the fiftys I've caught had to be held up with 2 hands.

Somebody pulling my chain here? Where is the stick? Better yet, where are the muscles on a guy who holds 60 pounds like it were a Twinkie? I pray my grand-daughter don't come home with this guy .

We are up to about 25, after throwing out the phonies. Not bad, I have a feeling we are going to have a decent year.

That pic looks phoney as a four dollar bill. :

People are starting to post up bogus reports all over the place.

A guy reported a 65 pounder from NJ with a pic that he released. The pic looks legit.

I have to agree with Frank and Al on this one
It is obviously a large fish, but can't see anyone holding a 63 pounder with one hand. Photoshopped? Maybe... 63 pounds? Not by what the pic shows... Just my opinion of course...
