it can't be about football, where one team of two has to lose. Oh, no, it has to be about ball pressures, star alignment or the second Sunday after Pentacost. It makes me think of how arbitrary greatness can be. Some PIA screwball catches a big fish and suddenly he is a high roller. Its such sheet!

Really deflategate was just a culmination of bad blood.

The bigger stuff has to do with video tapes that Roger Goodell felt compelled to destroy.

Why? Ask Bill sometime and see if he answers.

Yes, on the field, Belichik goes down as one of, if not The, best.

Off the field, everyone outside of the Boston area has a problem. And this latest move by McDaniel scewing over another org like Belichik did ( oh yeah, ask him if he returned the $1M he got from the Jets, while you're at it) just keeps the new guy in the rest of the country's crosshairs.

No, it's never just about football when it comes to the Pats.

Now, if you want to stay on the field, I am finally convinced Brady is the best QB of all time, and Brady/Belichik the best QB/Coach combo of all time.

With my eyes TB is the best all time he reads the defence & audible the plays @ the line of scrimmage ( comparable to Joe Namath ) the plays are very well disguised dreamed up by the coaching staff . The owner & coach bring him down with the unnecessary history of cheating , poor sportsmanship . How can the outside football fan like this crap Its a shame BUT he is tarnished . Tom Brady's natural talent & arm strength as made this team history what is is today . Robert Kraft was the kid who brought the football to the field or he would not play , when he was a young lad the guys made him go after the ball when it went over the fence .

I was impressed how they kept the Eagles line off balance , except for that one play and really because they knew Tim had no choice but to push it downfield. Even when Brady was pressured he did a superior job of moving enough and seeing the field to get out of it. In the past, he's gotten the yips from pressure, at least in the regular season.

No doubt Tom Terrific is a great QB. In that game Pedersen was the best coach and Foles was damned near perfect. Having seen the Eagles beat Vince Lombardi and Green Bay for the 1960 championship I thought I may never live long enough to see them win another. The only disappointment about Brady is that he couldn't find himself man enough to congratulate Foles on the win. Sad commentary for a guy with 5 SB rings.

This Eagles team is going to be a contender for some time to come.

I just did an exclusive interview for SS.con with Belichick: Coach, what do you feel went wrong playing the Eagles? "Well, it was, or might have been, becuz .... we, a, any given day ...... the wind, .....our defence, ...... inasmuch, a, ..... mumble .... we went over that yesterday ..... Brady mumble "
Thanks, Coach

Judging from my propensity to catch small fish, I guess I'm at least considered an honest fisherman. Not hot sheet.

There is a lot of luck in every sport. I did a story one time about luck and told of a woman who was posing for a picture with a deer when she told me "I wasn't shooting at that one." So it is with every sport: the ball bounces first this way, then that. The Pats lost ONE game. Albeit the wrong one.

I sense that the organization is in disarray. It started with sidelining defense Malcalm Butler with no explanation. Nearly losing McDaniel. Brady getting old. The team's cohesion is slipping away. On paper one would think this one game loss is not a significant read but these divisions are a bad sign.
