Stuff you'll need...

• Hook: Mustad 34007 or equivalent size 2X
• Thread: Flourescent Red
• Wing: White Bucktail, over which is tied Pearl Crystal Flash, then White FisHair, then Purple Ultra Hair, and topped by about 6 strands of Peacock hurl.
• Throat: Red Maribou.
• Eyes: Silver or Gold Bead Chain.

1. Place the hook in the vise and attach the tying thread.
2. Starting at the back of the bend, tie in a medium clump of unstacked Bucktail extending about a shank and a half.
3. Tie in the Crystal flash at the mid point and double it over so that it comes to just shy of the Bucktail tips.
4. Tie in the FisHair, then Ultra Hair keeping each layer just shy of the tips on the previous one, throw in a few half-hitches to lock it all down.
5. Tie in the Marabou throat
6. Using a figure-of-eight pattern, tie in the eyes, building a sharp bullet head. Throw in a few half-hitches to lock it down.
7. Apply a whip finish, and cut the tying thread.
8. Apply nail polish or your favorite head cement.
9. Go fishing.
